The complexities in the word LIE (II) - The difference between ignorance and lie

I am enthusiastic about the fact that none of my colleagues are concordant with my ideas, and it works in me like madness. I have a peculiar knack of contending till my points are consented. I wish this should not be a reason to ignore me but it is a chance I offer to acquaint my readers with me. This is where my spirit to go on originates. I, in this piece, wish to give a very fundamental difference which will, in due course of time, prove to be the spine of my ideas.
Ignorance is the condition of being uneducated, unaware, or uninformed. If I don’t know what time it is, I am undoubtedly ignorant. It may be due to my wish, or due to my compulsion. I may not have a time-piece or mine could give wrong time. In such a situation if I am stranded in this unfriendly world and asked for the time, will it be a lie?
Some will say of course, the receiver doesn’t know my intentions. For him it is as good as a lie. But some wise men will reject that in my favor as I don’t do it deliberately. So to sum up, if misinformation takes place in the light of ignorance, it does not qualify to be called a lie.
Here I would like to bring back my first example. The employee, who lies to his boss, does it deliberately. It is not so that he was ill and unaware of it till morning. His turning out ill is just plain chance, it will not be the same every day. Hence it is a lie. Transformation of a lie into truth is a different topic I wish to dicuss at a later time.
